About Me
Hello there! The name's Fayelinya Luna, or Faye for short. (I also go by Tuba-chan!) My main goal is to share my passions in music, art, and the VTuber sphere as a whole!I consider myself a hobbyist creator. Things come through in due time, as I always have other commitments to handle in the background. This also means I am able to give ample care for the stuff I put out, though hopefully not so much that I overthink it...Music has been a blossoming passion for me. I love playing the tuba very much, and making music has become a focal point of my VTuber activities as of late. I specialize in making tuba covers of video game music and some anime, occasionally tapping into other genres as well. Aside from that, I've been recording covers virtually with the Virtual Video Game Orchestra since 2023 and the VTuber Symphony Orchestra since 2024.
My first contact with VTubers was in late 2019, and I've never looked back when I first took a dive in the algorithm rabbit hole around January to February 2020. I joined the virtual world officially in mid-2021 to share my passions in music, art, and video games. Though I've been streaming infrequently since 2019, my focus shifted more towards making videos as of November 2024.---------------------- 🌟 ----------------------I also make clips of my favorite VTuber moments occasionally. This is what I call my "Memory Book", the moments that resonate with me over the years since I started to discover VTubers around late 2019, early 2020, and beyond. Most clips are naturally biased to me, though I may archive moments that are hard to find as well. It's undeniable that clips are part of the lifeblood of the VTuber industry, as early translated Hololive clips were responsible for the medium becoming as big as it is now. I'm happy to share moments that are meaningful to me (or just plain funny), hopefully bringing as much joy as I did making them or reliving those moments.Below is a clip from when VTSO submitted a presentation for Ironmouse's chat presentations stream (as part of her 2024 subathon awards), in effect noticing all 45 (at the time) members of the group at the same time.
My Covers
Latest Cover Video: Wasureji no Kotonoha - Tuba and Violin Duet Cover (semi-live) w/ Corns McGowan
I do a variety of solo, multitrack, and bass line tuba covers. VGM (video game music) is my specialty, though on occasion I may dip into some anime themes or try to play other genres typical of tuba repetoire. Depends on what I'm in the mood for, really.
I currently don't have much to offer, so this page will update over time with one or two of my recent covers.
Refer to the links below for more covers (including those in Shorts format) and the complete list of credits for all my covers.
YouTube is the only source of my covers as of right now. Any reuploads of my content (especially off-site) and any form of remixing or use in artificial intelligence training are all unauthorized.
Music Collabs and Contributions
Some of the best music in the VGM and VTuber space come from music collabs, and I often find myself doing a lot of them due to my primary instrument of choice.
Since 2023, I have participated in various cover collab projects online of varying genres for both the Virtual Video Game Orchestra (VVGO) and the VTuber Symphony Orchestra (VTSO), primarily on the tuba!
More covers can be found in my full Music Contributions document. They're also in playlists and the home page section of my YouTube channel.
I am always eager to collaborate on music projects whenever I am able to. The way music brings people together is one of the best things about being a musician and has become my favorite part of making music online. Scroll down for more info.
Notes about Collabing (PLEASE READ)
I mostly do music collabs with VTubers (which are not restricted to VGM but also anime music), but I have opened the possibility of working with the VGM community as of recent. Everyone I've worked with so far understands I am an amateur that's less experienced in making covers at present, and I value helpful feedback and reliable communication the entire way. At the moment, I am only taking collab requests on a case-by-case basis due to personal reasons and other obligations I may have. Please keep the above in mind when inviting me to a cover collab. I appreciate your understanding.
Even if you're not a VTuber (i.e. the greater VGM community), you may reach out via email for collab invites. As of Spring 2024, I've added myself to the VGMTogether Collab Directory for potential collab opportunities. Note that you must already be in the VGMTogether Discord server or reach out to their staff to obtain the key to access that resource.
PLEASE EMAIL ME FIRST to contact me if you are a new contact. For safety, I do not have open DMs on Discord or Twitter. I must be following you on Bluesky or be friends on Discord to be able to DM me on those platforms. This privacy restriction does not apply to anyone on my Discord friends list already, or are a part of VTSO. (I am also in the VGMTogether server but my DMs are off in there.) Once I accept a collab invite, I will give you my Discord so we can keep in touch thereafter. Regardless of medium, I will try to respond within 1-3 business days, though it varies depending on my other obligations. Please be clear in the email that it's a music collab invite or I may ignore you. Once a collab invite is accepted, response timing will be at my discretion, but will generally be much quicker!
